Glasgow's First Vietnamese Canteen

All of us at the Bike Shop love to travel and to eat great food, Vietnam in particular is a favourite destination.  We wanted to open Glasgow’s first Vietnamese restaurant for the most part because it is the kind of food we love to eat.  Fresh, vibrant and exciting yet surprisingly subtle, you add as much or as little spice as you like yourself so you don’t have to be a chilli fiend to enjoy it (though admittedly most of us are).

We have taken inspiration from a variety of places we have visited and every element, from the décor to the menu evokes some memory from our collective experiences.  Also we have deliberately kept things casual. The menu is designed for sharing  which results in a lively and bustling atmosphere that can continue well into the night with our late opening hours.

We use only the freshest ingredients and take pride in the fact that everything is made from scratch-even our ever popular tofu!  Come down and enjoy a feel good pho or some of our healthy, full of flavour salads and see for yourself why we love it so much.

We are delighted to have been awarded the List's 'Best Newcomer 2013' award which sits proudly alongside our AA rosestte.  A big thank you to everyone who has made our opening months such a success.  We are genuinely touched by the fantastic feedback and look forward to what's in store for the months and years ahead.

Our TET celebrations at the end of January were a great success!  We brought in The Year of the Horse in true Vietnamese style with our dancing dragon and plenty of noise!

And now we're all set for TET TRUNG THU on Monday 8th September - another fun-filled night celebrating the festive flavours of Vietnam with our sumptious set menu, and perfect for all the family with dragon dancing, face painting and more!
